From the Mass Pike
Take the Mass Pike to Exit 17 in Newton Corner. Follow the signs to Washington St. and head west, following the signs for West Newton. Proceed on Washington St. for 1.2 mi. Turn right onto Walnut St. Cross over Rt. 16 (Watertown St) and turn left on to Minot Place. Day Middle School is at the bottom of the hill.
From Route 128 - US 95
Get off Rt. 128 at Exit 24. At the top of the off ramp bear and turn right onto Rt. 30 (Commonwealth Ave.) heading east (toward Boston). Continue on Commonwealth Ave for 3.4 mi to Walnut St. (at Newton City Hall). Turn left onto Walnut St., proceed 1.5 mi, crossing over the Mass Pike and then Rt. 16 (Watertown St). Turn left on to Minot Place. Day Middle School is at the bottom of the hill.
NOTE: We encourage all visitors to be aware of the parking regulations in and around Day. Your car may be ticketed or towed if parked illegally. Since there are limited parking spaces around Day itself, we recommend you park at or around the Education Center on Walnut Street. There is a parking lot behind the Education Center accessible via the Crafts Street entrance. You can easily walk down Minot Place to the school.
